Dana Wilkey Defends Taylor Armstrong Against Brandi Glanville’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2 Reunion Criticism
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills regular Dana Wilkey was somehow both a part of the Season 2 drama and yet always one kitten-heeled step outside of it. In her latest Bravo blog, the boisterous event planner explained why she thinks it’s hard for the ladies on the show to form solid friendships.
She writes, “Is it possible that because our friendships are developing publicly and that all the girls have so much influence that people are scared to let their guard down? I think the answer is yes.” Dana went on to explain that with the cast members’ jam-packed schedules, it’s hard to squeeze in “hang time” and their age naturally makes it harder to develop friendships anyway. Still, Dana thinks the ladies “are all cool in their own way” and worth the effort. “Yes, even Brandi if she would just stop pissing me off for more than 5 minutes at a time,” Dana writes. (Brandi Glanville and Dana recently had a Twitter feud that resulted in Brandi blocking her co-star.)
In her blog, Dana also says she was upset she wasn’t at the reunion to defend Taylor Armstrong against some of the other Housewives. “The reunion was hard for me to watch because I wish I had been there to stop Brandi from criticizing Taylor. She’s been through enough,” writes Dana, adding that Taylor’s book — which Brandi thought Taylor published too soon following husband Russell’s suicide — “will save lives.”
“So rather than argue about whether she should have written it or how long she should have waited to do so, why doesn’t everyone just read it and see if it can help someone you know?” Dana suggests.
