Ricky Martin Fever! Glee Season 3, Episode 12’s Best and Worst Song Performances — Do You Agree?

Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts... along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 3, Episode 12: “The Spanish Teacher,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: “La Isla Bonita” by Santana and Mr. Martinez

Who can complain about an episode with not one but two amazing Ricky Martin songs? Not us. And as fun as “Sexy and I Know It” was (wiggle, wiggle!), we were blown away by his beautiful duet with Santana (Naya Rivera) on Madonna’s classic “La Isla Bonita.” (Is it hot in here, or is it just them?) Naya and Ricky’s voices were great together, and the dance moves were muy fabulous. Between Mr. Martinez and Dr. Carl (John Stamos) before him, it’s clear that Santana respects guys who know teeth.

Worst Performance of the Night: “A Little Less Conversation” by Will

Sigh. This is Will’s (Matthew Morrison) ace in the hole? We get that it was supposed to bad, but why did we need another embarrassing Will song after already enduring “La Cucaracha”? And we’re shocked that this is the treatment Elvis gets after we’ve waited the entire series for him (not counting “Blue Christmas,” which Elvis only covered). Frankly, we’re struggling to find anything good to say about this fun but offensive number. Uh... we suppose Will looks good in shoulder pads?
