Celebrity Weight Loss Secrets: Beyonce Plans on Losing 40 Pounds Post-Baby

It hasn’t even been two months since Beyonce gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and the pop icon is already well on her way to regaining her pre-pregnancy figure.

Star Magazine reports, via Hollywood Life, that Beyonce has made getting fit a serious priority. In fact, she’s even moved trainer Marco Borges into her home for maximum workout efficiency! “Beyonce and Marco are up at 5 a.m. for a two-hour workout, and they do it again at 5 p.m.,” a source tells Star. “They do a mix of cardio, Pilates, plyometrics, yoga and, of course, dance.”

On top of that, Beyonce eats six small, high-protein meals a day. “She’s living on protein shakes, egg-white omelettes, pineapple chunks, and lots of ice-cold water,” the source says.

So far, Beyonce has lost 14 pounds. She hopes to lose a total of 40 pounds, which would drop her down to a goal weight of 128 pounds by early March. Sounds like we could all use a little of B’s motivation and dedication right now!
