Regionals Showdown! Glee Season 3, Episode 14’s Best and Worst Song Performances — Do You Agree?

Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts... along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 3, Episode 14: “On My Way,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: “Cough Syrup” by Blaine

It was Regionals, so of course there would be heavy competition in this category, and sure enough, we loved Rachel’s (Lea Michele) “Here’s to Us,” not to mention that it was a blast to see the Troubletones gang back together for “Stronger.” But the most unforgettable performance was Blaine’s (Darren Criss), which combined his stirring vocals with images of Karofsky’s (Max Adler) suicide attempt to powerful effect. We would have loved to see this on the Regionals stage, but we’ll take what we can get.

Worst Performance of the Night: “Stand” by the Warblers

Maybe we’re just biased, but neither of the Warblers numbers impressed us much, especially not this one, which comes off as generic and boy band-ish. We loved Sebastian’s (Grant Gustin) vocals on “Smooth Criminal” a few weeks back, but the performance here just can’t stand up to all those unbelievable Blaine-led Warblers performances of yesteryear. Come to think of it, we’re just glad Blaine is on our side now.

On the other hand...
