Bones Season 7 Episode Guide: What to Expect When the Show Returns
Since it’s another long, cold month (more, even — it’s practically an Easter gift at this point!) until Bones returns to our television sets, we think it’s a smart idea to devote this time to thinking about what to expect when the series does alight on Earth once again.
Then there’s Episode 8, “The Bump in the Road.” To date, there are no concrete plot details aligned with this episode — maybe Hodgins (TJ Thyne) gets abducted by aliens, leaving the Jeffersonian team to cope? We don't really think this.
In Episode 9, “The Don’t in the Do,” Booth realizes that it’s a bad idea to reproduce his hairstyle on his infant daughter when she subsequently becomes the prime suspect in a murder case. We’re joking, of course, but again, the Bones brains have given us very little to work with on this one so far. (We may meet a certain tomcattish 75-year-old murder suspect here, though.)
Episode 10 is called “The Warrior in the Wuss,” and thankfully, we do have some plot deets on this one. Namely, a pugnacious pain in the rear bites the bullet shortly after getting said rear handed to him by a preteen martial-arts wiz. This is also where Booth’s son Parker (Ty Panitz) engages in some world-class fit-throwing/larceny as he tries to cope with the existence of his new sister.
Unfortunately, Episode 11, like number 8, is shrouded in ambiguity. We do know, at least, that it’s titled “The Family in the Feud.” For what it’s worth, of late there’s a hypothesis floating around the office that this — not episode 7, as previously thought — is where we’ll meet the infamous Deal Diva. After all, what better grounds could there be for a family feud than coupon-clipping, maniacal matriarchs?
So there you have it: a run-down of the glorious Bones bevy to come once April rolls around. (And this says nothing of the planned bonus episodes.) So even if we know March will be tough... well, it’s Lent. It’s supposed to be tough. And think of what you have to look forward to!
