Adley Stump Meant to Audition for Jeopardy, But Ended up on The Voice Instead!
Many of The Voice's Season 2 contestants came into the competition with a passionate drive for music. So, naturally, they were constantly looking for opportunities to perform before the Blind Auditions.

In a recent conference call, the final member of Team Blake, Adley Stump, admitted she didn’t take the conventional route in auditioning for The Voice.
“I found The Voice because I was a broke college student,” she joked. “I thought, 'Man, I’m broke. I need to go on Jeopardy or something.’ And so I Googled 'How to get on Jeopardy,’ and a list of reality shows popped up.”
And the rest, as they say, is history.
The singer, originally from Oklahoma, only started performing 10 months ago. She released her own EP in five months and moved to Nashville, Tenn. to pursue her career as a country singer.
“I felt like this torch had been lit in my heart, and I just needed to go start a wildfire with it,” Adley said in reaction to discovering her new talent.
