Castle and Beckett Hold Hands in Season 4, Episode 17, “Once Upon a Crime”: Does It Signify a Step Forward in Their Relationship?

We’re not embarrassed about our Caskett obsession, so we don’t feel weird at all admitting our hearts went pitter-patter at the end of Castle Season 4, Episode 17: “Once Upon a Crime” when Beckett lovingly placed her manicured mitt on top of Castle’s hand. Even thinking about it now makes us blush!

Unfortunately, the ep cut to black right after the hand -holding, so we weren’t given any insight into how the moment ended.

Castle writers have recently developed a bad habit of teasing us about Caskett’s future, only to leave us high and dry. That being said, there’s a huge chance Caskett’s hand-holding won’t even be brought up again, but we can’t help but wonder if it holds any significance.

Should we consider it another step forward for the twosome, or just a cute, disposable moment needed to end the scene?

You tell us!
