Team Blake Mentors Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson Talk About Season 2 Battle Rounds

Now that the Blind Auditions are over, it's time for each judges' team to meet their mentors. This year there are two per team and on Team Blake — his wife, Miranda Lambert, and former Idol winner Kelly Clarkson.

The Voice's social media correspondent, Christina Milian, sat down with the two mentors to talk about their role on the show.

The two dish on working with Blake and the 12 contestants. It seems that each mentor will work with six of the 12 contestants for the Battle Rounds. Neither mentor let too much slip, but Miranda admitted she's not the biggest fan of Blake's '80s song choices.

Kelly Clarkson, the first winner of American Idol, admits that she loves the show and has been asking her agent if she can audition. Though the comment was made lightly, we're sure they'd let Kelly take the stage if it would bring in more viewers.

She and Blake have known each other for years, and she was quick to comment on Blake's image.

"If you follow him on Twitter he seems like such an ass, but he's not ... I mean he is, but in a fun way," said Kelly.

What do you think of the Team Blake mentors? How do they compare with his mentor from last year, Reba McEntire? Comment below!
