Rachael Taylor Scores Another Pilot Role, Makes Grey’s Anatomy Return Even More Unlikely
If you were hoping to see Rachael Taylor return to Grey's Anatomy as the ambitious Dr. Lucy Fields, we have some bad news. However, if you're a fan of Rachael in general, this is actually good news: She's been cast in a new pilot!
Rachael originally left her Grey's reoccurring role asAlex's (Justin Chambers) love interest for Charlie’s Angels, which crashed and burned after just a few episodes. Now she's picked up a part on ABC's 666 ParkAvenue, the Hollywood Reporter confirms.
The show, which is about a young couple trying to manage a building while facing supernatural occurrences, sounds very cool, and we're excited to potentially see Rachael back on TV. However, if this show gets picked up, it makes it more unlikely than ever that we'll see Rachael return as Lucy return for another extended arc on Grey's.
Alex really has the worst luck, right? (Not that he'd necessarily want to date Lucy after she stole his dream job in Africa...)
Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
