Nathan Fillion Reveals His New Pick to Play Richard Castle’s Dad
Castle's Nathan Fillion has been pretty vocal about who he'd like to see play his on-screen dad, with the list of actors ranging from One Life to Live star Bob Woods to legendary film actor Christopher Walken.
But after partying it up, A-list style, at Elton John's annual Oscar viewing party on February 26, Nathan's singing the praises of someone new.
"You know who I was just hanging out with who would be great?" Nathan asked while chatting on the Kevin & Bean Show last week. "Kyle MacLachlan. So charming."
While we like the idea in theory, we can't get past the fact that 1) they're only 12 years apart, and 2) he was Charlotte's under-performing husband Trey on Sex and the City. Not exactly CIA material. That's assuming, of course, that Castle writers intend to move forward with this storyline in the first place.
"Well, they introduced that idea, right?" Nathan said. "Castle's not the kind of guy to go chasing after that kind of information, but it's out there. We started it."
