During an interview at the reading of the play 8 on March 4, Chris gave On The Red Carpetsome unsettling teases about Kurt’s future. “Kurt’s going to go through some stuff that I don’t think everyone’s going to like, but I side with him. That’s all I’m going to say.”
Intriguing, no? Whatever the drama, it’s pretty certain that Kurt’s father, Burt (Mike O’Malley), will somehow be involved. On March 2, Darren Criss (Blaine) tweeted, “I absolutely love watching scenes with @chriscolfer & Mike O'Malley. Both wonderful actors. Such a joy to watch them work in person.”
Given what we know about Glee’s filming schedule, this Kurt, Blaine, Burt scene will likely appear in either episode 16 or 17. With Kurt’s future at NYADA still up in the air, we’re on the edges of our seats waiting to find out what will happen.
As for what’s next for Sue Sylvester — actress Jane Lynch says fans should not expect the new kinder, gentler Sue to disappear anytime soon. “Sue’s pregnant. It’s softening her a little bit, and it’s not just for one episode,” Jane Lynch dished.
She continued, “I mean, with Sue Sylvester as your advocate, you have no better advocate. And when she’s your enemy, you have no worse enemy. She’s advocating right now, and her heart is open. I love playing that part of her, because it’s the warrior in her being used for good and not for evil.”
But who among the Glee crew might be in need of some advocacy? Given recent heartbreaking events, we’d say a certain blond (former?) Cheerio definitely springs to mind.
