The episode started off with some standard Rosewood hallway drama, with Spencer (Troian Bellisario) giving Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen) crap for hanging out with Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) again. Spencer asks Toby about Jenna's apparent eye surgery and goes on to tell him she's been thinking about him, but it just seems like too little too late for the Tobe-ster.

Meanwhile, Emily (Shay Mitchell) finally gets word from Maya St. Germain (Bianca Lawson), who tells her she's OK, should never have come back to Rosewood, and wishes their goodbye was just the romantic night they had together before she came back (gasp!) A heartbroken Em debates whether to tell Maya's parents and, despite Maya's request to keep it hush-hush, ends up calling Maya's mom to let her know.

Aria (Lucy Hale) shows her dare-devil side this week when she meets up with Duncan for, ya know, a casual flight in a helicopter. Yes, Aria NBD flew a plane while getting some insider info. from Duncan about Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse). Duncan reveals that he was with Ali the day that she died and when Aria puts the pieces together, she realizes Ali must have been in Rosewood that day six or seven hours before the girls thought she was.

The episode takes a crazy turn when the girls realize Alison's old bag filled with apparent junk is actually filled with clues highlighted on old newspapers. As Hanna heads back to Jason's house to retrieve Ali's bag with the newspapers in it, she notices something strange going on inside the house, and BAM, Jenna's body flings against the window. Hanna quickly realizes the house is on fire and gets Jenna out safely.

Jenna wakes up in the hospital thinking Jason lured her into the burning house, but Jason wasn't even in the area at the time. Jenna breaks down to the girls and tells them she knows it wasn't them either. Are the girls and Jenna becoming, dare we say, cool with each other? Eh, probs not.

We really liked the episode. Chilling clues, relationship break-throughs, and one step closer to finding "A"
