This spun into action a series of events that led to Jenna back-stabbing Garrett (Yani Gellman) with Page 5, lying to everyone about her eye surgery (except maybe Toby [Keegan Allen]), and apparently deciding to “change.” But in what way(s)? We break down some theories.
Jenna is evil. Putting aside her apparent change of heart recently, we know from Season 2, Episode 13:”The First Secret” that Jenna has hated Alison (Sasha Pieterse) starting with her first day in Rosewood. Ali went out of her way to make Jenna feel like an outcast, and eventually was responsible for “the Jenna thing,” causing Jenna’s blindness. Maybe she is just pure evil, and has a part in both Alison’s murder (hello, Page 5!), and “A”’s torturous ways.
How long has Jenna really been able to see? Last night, we watched as Jenna removed the bandages covering her surgically enhanced eye. She pretended for the next few days that the surgery didn’t work, but we found out at the last minute that Jenna could see perfectly fine. Both of her blue eyes looked healthy and operative in the mirror, didn’t they? We have to wonder: did Jenna just decide to keep her new sight a secret so she could frame Garrett, now that she likes the Little Liars? Or has she been able to see a lot longer than that?
