Sharon Osbourne Fired Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete From The Talk Because They Were “Ghetto”: Report
Actresses Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete were suddenly fired from their daytime talk show, The Talk, last fall — just before the show’s second season was scheduled to premiere — and now Leah is speaking out about the real reason she and Holly got the axe.
In a lengthy Twitter rant, Leah tweeted at a follower, “Sharon thought me and Holly were ‘Ghetto’, (her words) we were not funny, awkward and didn't know ourselves.”
Leah’s rant continued, and it’s obvious that she held nothing back. Citing an interview that Sharon did on Howard Stern, Leah later tweeted to a follower that asked if Sharon had a hand in the firings, “Yes. she had us fired she told howard stern. explains why she never called us back.”
After Leah and Holly were fired, they were promptly replaced with Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler.
So far Sharon has remained mum and not addressed Leah’s claims, but we have a feeling the outspoken Osbourne won’t stay quite for long!
