The Bachelor

Who Is Julia Flajnik? Background Info on Bachelor Ben’s Sister

Sister knows best! Julia Flajnik arrives on the Swiss scene to judge brother Ben’s two final ladies, Lindzi Cox and Courtney Robertson. After side-eyeing Courtney and making her jump through the treacherous 20-questions hoops, Julia gives Ben and Courtney her blessing. “First impression is I’m shocked,” Julia confesses to her brother in the finale. “I’m blown away; she’s a really amazing girl.”

Ben is obviously very close to his younger sister, and Bachelor Nation immediately fell in love with her, gushing about Julia all over Twitter — including Ben’s more bitter exes, Emily O’Brien, who applauded her side-eyeing skills. So, who is Julia Flajnik? Turns out, she’s just as awesome as she appears onscreen.

Julia, 25, graduated from Arizona State University in 2008. She now resides in San Francisco, working as a Senior Account Manager for Dreamfarm — as well as pulling double-duty as Event Coordinator for Ben’s winery, Envolve. On her Twitter stream, Julia seems to be an avid food and wine enthusiast, tweeting photos of herself attempting vegan baking or wandering San Fran’s China Town late at night.

Despite the Twitter support for Julia as “the next Bachelorette,” Ben’s beloved sister has a boyfriend! His name is Garrett Fitzpatrick, and he’s an adorable sales account guy for in San Francisco, according to his Linked In profile.

Sidebar: A lot of people are saying Julia looks a lot like Ben’s ex Shawntel Newton, who then took to her Twitter account to comment on the likeness:

I have been getting a lot of tweets tonight from all you east coasters about @JuliaFlajnik and I lookin alike!! #TheBachelor #compliment
