Bones Spoilers! Emily Deschanel vs. Brennan: How Are Their Mothering Styles Different?

If you’re a Bones fan hoping nail-biting mysteries, loathsome serial killers, and copious blood and gore — consider yourself warned. All that will be taking to take a back-seat when it comes to the latest installment of Bones spring spoilers. For now, it’s all love and mush, adorable babies, and inter-family child-rearing. So don’t say we didn’t warn you!

TJ Thyne (Hodgins) tells E! Online that he’s very excited about the idea of play dates between baby Bones and little Michael Hodgins. Plus, TJ reveals that Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) aren’t exactly having the easiest time with parenthood.

“They’re starting to struggle through what Jack and Angela [Michaela Conlin] struggled through, and we’re helping out,” he says. How precious!

Meanwhile, John Francis Daley (Sweets) offers his own psych profile of new mother Brennan. “Brennan is, in a way, like Emily, which is a great mother. Very loving.”

That said, there is one notable difference between actor and character. While Emily doesn’t have any trouble expressing emotions, Brennan still has a bit of “tackling” to do in the heart department. As JFD puts it, “[h]aving this baby and her relationship with Booth is a while [sic] new world for her.”

...Uh, a “while” new world? Great. Now we’ve got weirdly transcribed Aladdin song stuck in our head!
