Pretty Little Liars Producer Says Season 2 Finale “A” Reveal Will Be “An Ending and a Beginning”
The Season 2 finale of Pretty Little Liars will reportedly answer all our questions about “A,” but now we’re not so sure that we’ll get the full “A” story come Monday.
In an interview with Zap2It, producer Lisa Cochran-Neilan hints that the big “A” reveal won’t be resolved in one scene. When asked if the reveal would be in the cliffhanger or the moments leading up to the cliffhanger, Lisa says “both.” Hm, well now we’re both confused and a little worried that we won’t actually find out who “A” is!
"Basically, there's a new chapter,” Lisa explains. “Marlene King made a comment in the very beginning when she went off to write the finale that this was going to be an ending and a beginning. And she delivered."
So, does that mean that “A” will be revealed, or — as some fans have been grumbling about — will we find out who “A” is only to have it later revealed that they weren’t really “A” and/or were just a part of the “A” group?
Lisa does offer up one offering to fans. The producer tells Zap2It that “A” has “been planned all along” and that there are clues “in the dialogue, in the sets, in so many different pieces.” This is a little different from what Lisa told Wetpaint Entertainment earlier this year, when she said she wasn’t sure if Marlene had committed on one “A” suspect since Day One. (Keep in mind that Lisa came on as a producer after the Pilot was filmed, so she may not have known all of Marlene’s plans.) Either way, we’ll still be tuning in for the huge Pretty Little Liars marathon on Monday to look for clues in all the episodes!
Watch the Pretty Little Liars Season 2 finale on Monday at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC Family.
