Lindsay Lohan has gotten herself into yet another scrape — literally. A 26-year-old nightclub manager claims that he’s injured after being grazed by the starlet’s car as she left a neighboring club in the early hours of the morning on March 14. Since Lindsay continued on her way after the incident, she could be charged with hit-and-run.
Eyewitnesses told TMZ that Lindsay was heading home when a crowd of paparazzi and club-goers blocked her car. Apparently, she was trying to make a three-point turn when she skimmed the manager of the Hookah Lounge with her Porsche. She left in a rush, and cops showed up shortly after.
The police interviewed bystanders, which included the club manager in question. At the time, the officers revealed to TMZ that no one appeared to be injured. Witnesses agreed, saying that the manager even resumed his hookah-smoking after his run-in with LiLo.
For her part, Lindsay refuted the accusations on Twitter, writing, “Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I've been at community service. Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn't even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi. These false accusations are absurd.”
Nonetheless, the manager later ended up going to the emergency room is reportedly planning to press charges. Should that happen, Lindsay would be charged with hit-and-run, which could put her probation at risk. Since she’s been doing so well recently, it would be a shame for all of her progress to be for nothing.
Still, it’s possible that Lindsay won’t face charges. Insiders claim that the manager said he was fine, but then began to say he was hurt not long after he discovered that the notorious actress had been the driver of the car. Fishy, no?
