While obviously we are most excited to finally find out who "A" is, we're also eager to see what happens between the many Pretty Little Couples as well. To help make the wait a little less painful, we're rounded up all the juiciest Pretty Little Liars shipping spoilers right here.
Good things in the finale: Marlene called the finale one of the best of the season for Ezria, so hopefully that means more good things for this couple — though this being PLL, "best" could mean "most dramatic."
Solidified: Ian Harding (Ezra Fitz) said that "things get a little more solidified in where they stand together, as a couple," which sounds like a good sign. However, both he and Lucy Hale (Aria) have warned that, as Lucy put it, "This is PLL, and it's television, so there always has to be drama."
Season 3: Showrunner Marlene King has promised that there will be more Ezria to come in Season 3, and has already spoiled that Aria will be shocked to see Ezra show up on her porch in the premiere. Why is she shocked? Is it because they really decide not to be together anymore, despite their big scene last week, or is it just because Aria's parents still aren't accepting of their relationship?
A different Toby: However, we have to keep in mind that Toby (Keegan Allen) is a changed person. As Keegan Allen explained, when Toby was gone he was on a "necessary mission" with his own "agenda." Now that he's returned, he's kind of back to being that "person who doesn't trust anybody," even though he still "really cares about [Spencer]."
Will he and Spencer be able to regain that trust and reenter a relationship by the end of next episode?
Still going strong: Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) have stayed strong all season, and there's no reason to believe that that will change. Tyler Blackburn recently said, "I don’t know what it would take for them to separate." Since he had already filmed the finale at the time of that quote, it definitely sounds like this couple will weather the storm at least until the end of the season.
Not everything gets revealed: However,Tyler also said that Caleb "doesn't learn the whole truth [about 'A'] this season," but he doesn't seem concerned about how that will effect the Haleb relationship.
Romeo and Juliet: Well, at least we know Hanna will have a date to the masquerade ball. Apparently she and Caleb go as "a play on Romeo and Juliet."
Is Maya back? The fate of Emaya is the most mysterious, since it's unclear if Maya is even in the finale. A few weeks ago, Bianca Lawson (Maya St. Germain) said that she's "not in the finale," but recently PLL producer Lisa Cochran-Neilan said that viewers can "expect to see...Maya in the finale." There were also rumors flying around that Maya gets killed off in the finale, so the murkiness might not be a good sign for Emaya fans.
Shay Mitchell also told us after Maya's disappearance that that was "not the last you’ll be seeing of Maya." Unless Shay was referring to Maya's emails and texts, that makes it sound like Maya will show up again next episode.
So, what's going on there? Color us confused.
Watch the Pretty Little Liars Season 2 finale on Monday at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC Family.
