"Basically, there's a new chapter," Lisa said, adding that there is both an "ending and a beginning" in the finale. This lines up with other people involved with the production saying that finding out who "A" is will lead into new mysteries that will keep the series going for Season 3.
Of course, this got us wondering what the "new beginning" is. Obviously, the options are seemingly endless. From a new twist in the case to a whole new murder mystery (after all, someone is supposed to die...).
However, we can't help wondering if this "new beginning" is yet another indication that the "A" we learn about in the finale isn't the only "A" out there.
As we've said before, the cast has dropped some clues that finding out "A"'s identity doesn't fully put the "who is 'A'" mystery to rest, and in the books the Liars discover one "A," only for someone else to take up the mantle and start stalking them.
There would be a certain amount of symmetric beauty in the "ending" being the ending of one "A" and the "beginning" being the beginning of another. Well, beauty and also frustration.
What do you think?
Find out who “A” is on the Pretty Little Liars Season 2 finale on Monday at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC Family.
