Rumor has it Adele's delving headfirst into a major health kick — by quitting smoking and sticking to a strict diet and fitness regimen. A source tells Daily Mail that Adele has "found so much more energy now she's quit smoking," adding that the British singer "really wants to get healthier."
Adele, who has also stopped drinking alcohol, has reportedly hired a personal trainer to maintain the momentum of her recent healthier living. In addition to seeing her trainer twice a week, the Grammy winner has also started Pilates classes. "She had always been curious about taking up Pilates but until recently there just hadn't been any time," the source says.
Adele has previously spoken proudly about her curvy figure, most recently in response to designer Karl Lagerfeld's derisive comments about her "fat" shape. "I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that. I don't want to be some skinny mini with my tits out. I don't want people confusing what it is that I'm about."
