DWTS Pro Cheryl Burke Says She Is “So” Single But Can’t Find the Right Guy

"I am SO single," Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke recently said on TV Guide's Hollywood Girls Night. "I'm not even sexting anybody. It's so depressing. I want that fairy tale but it's so hard here. And then you go out and they're just trashy men."

That was after a couple glasses of wine, Cheryl laughingly clarified today on Access Hollywood. But it is hard to date in LA, she said. The two-time DWTS champion, now 27, moved to LA at age 21, started work on DWTS and said she doesn't really meet anyone new. "I would like someone successful and, you know, like what any other woman would want: someone funny, someone that can relate to the business I'm in and doesn't get jealous."

He doesn't have to BE in the business, though. She joked about going back through her high school yearbook again to find someone. Or maybe she can just look to the guy she's spending six hours a day with — her Season 14 partner, William Levy. Last we heard, the telenovela star was single, since he and the mother of his kids, Mexican-American actress Elizabeth Gutierrez, broke up last summer around the same time those Jennifer Lopez dating rumors came up. Either way, Cheryl said in a different interview that she plans to keep things strictly professional with William.

Since Cheryl herself called William the hottest piece of you-know-what to ever be on DWTS, it sounds like she is meeting some good new guys. And if it doesn’t work with William, whatever happened to the idea of Cheryl and fellow DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy being more than just friends? We never did understand why that rumor had to be shot down so vehemently. Why not?

Dancing With the Stars Season 14 premieres Monday, March 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
