Eliminated Voice Contestant ALyX Drops the F-Bomb on Twitter, Claims the Show Is Rigged
After being eliminated Monday night, a unanimous decision by all four judges, The Voice Season 2 Team Blake contestant ALyX went on a belated Twitter rant this morning.
It started with, “F*** ANYBODY WHO JUDGES WETHER (sic) OR NOT I HAD 'FUN OUT THERE' THE PRODUCERS ONLY PUT WHAT THEY WANTED ON UR TELE. @RollingStone”
These comments were a reaction to the already slightly controversial Rolling Stone recap of Monday night’s performances. But compared to their breakdown of some of ALyX’s fellow contestants, writer Joe Berkowitz was relatively tame with his critique of her battle against Jermaine Paul.
The line in question seems to be, “ALyX's personality here is restricted to being told repeatedly by both Blake Shelton and his lovely wife, Miranda Lambert, to ‘just have fun out there,’ because that seems impossible for her.”
Followed by, “YEAH SURE I"LL BE THE ONE TO SAY IT!! WAS I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED ALL THE BULLS***?!”
Note to NBC, don’t piss off the pop star. Though her Twitter handle is @FollowALyX, we’re a little afraid to now.
Fellow Season 2 contestants The Shields Brothers have come out in support of ALyX. They told us, "Hey we just want to say we feel for @FollowALyX she is a great talent and a really nice person. We understand her frustration."
The Shields Brothers were also eliminated Monday night in a controversial decision made by their coach Cee Lo Green.
