Grey’s Anatomy Season 8 Spoilers: Which Doc Gets a “Ginormous Nosebleed”?

While there is still no official news regarding the Grey's Anatomy stars’ decisions to renew their contracts for Season 9, there are some spoilers regarding those nasty medical boards all of the docs are studying their butts off for.

As we know, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) has signed up for 4 am study sessions with test ace Callie (Sara Ramirez), and Karev (Justin Chambers) has been spending all-nighters with his quiz cards (and Intern Morgan, ahem). Jackson (Jesse Williams) has showed signs of major stress, particularly around his only confidant, Mark (Eric Dane). And we’re sure the others (except otherwise-occupied Cristina [Sandra Oh], maybe) are studying hard.

According to TVLine, “The medical boards don’t go well for at least two of the show’s docs — one gets a ginormous, stress-induced spontaneous nosebleed (mid-test!) and another fails the first of three sections when he arrives late.”

We’re not sure about the nosebleeder, but something tells us Karev will be the tardy doc. Could it be a case of over-sleeping? As a doctor, he should know how important sleep is!

Grey’s Anatomy returns with an all-new episode on Thursday, April 5 at 9 pm ET/PT on ABC.
