American Idol

Should American Idol 2012’s Heejun Han Have Been Eliminated Instead of Erika Van Pelt on March 22?

When the American Idol judges and mentor Jimmy Iovine weighed in on Erika Van Pelt’s Billy Joel performance this week, they had nothing but glowing feedback for her. When it came to reviewing Heejun Han, it was a very different story.

Whereas Erika was praised for having one of the best performances of the night, Heejun managed to anger the usually laidback Steven Tyler. The rock legend saw his goofy rendition of “My Life” as an insult to the music industry, and the other judges were less than impressed with his out-of-breath vocals. Still, when it came down to it, it was Erika who was sent home.

Do you think that voters got it wrong? Sound off below!
