According to a source for Radar Online, Camille left the show because Bravo wanted to demote her from full cast member to guest star. As in, a Dana Wilkey-style guest star. And it sounds like Bravo had burned her before. One insider says Camille felt the producers were out to get her. Not only was she painted as the villain in Season 1, but when she turned everything around in Season 2, she was given less screen time.
Since Camille doesn’t need the show for income, she politely declined the offer, thanked the producers, and is now “moving on” with her life, the source says. Luckily for Camille, that doesn’t sound like such a bad deal since her life now involves a super sexy younger man, beau Dimitri Charalambopoulos.
Camille confirmed to E! News that she wasn’t fired but admitted she “didn’t want to expose [her] personal life so much anymore.” Radar's source says Cam Gram doesn’t regret her stint on RHoBH, but admits “it definitely took its toll on her.” Now, she “wants to produce a television series” of her own someday.
We wouldn’t be opposed to a Camille/Dimitri spin-off!
