Blake Shelton Calls Christina Aguilera One of the “Greatest Female Vocalists of All Time”: Do You Agree?

By this point, we all know that The Voice Season 2 coach Blake Shelton is married to country singer and Voice mentor Miranda Lambert. But in his recent interview with Adam Levine in People Magazine, Blake admitting to admiring another musical diva, fellow Voice coach Christina Aguilera.

“Christina’s a diva — one of the-greatest-female-vocalists-of-all-time kind of diva,” he said. “She shows up and works her a** off. I actually get along with her awesomely.”

Adam Levine agreed with Blake about Christina’s sometimes negative image.

“She’s often the target of negative criticism, and I want to defend her,” he said. “We can’t underestimate the fact that she’s the only girl [on The Voice]. There are three frat boys doing this, and she’s got to deal with our nonsense.”

It seems the coaches are pals despite their occasionally harsh banter on the show.
