As for Texas beauty Taylor Armstrong, a Bravo insider says the network still isn’t sure whether to extend an offer. Since the 40-year-old’s husband, Russell, tragically committed suicide last year, the network feels her presence might “turn off” some viewers — although keeping her on the show does have benefits. “If they don’t invite Taylor back, then she will be free to say whatever she wants. If they do, they will be able to control her,” says the network insider.
The Housewives themselves are being coy about their contracts as well: While dining at the L.A. Mr. Chow’s Monday night, British beauty Lisa Vanderpump told Rumor FixCamille leaving signifies “the end of an era” but said of her own fate, “It’s up to Bravo.”
The network still hasn’t confirmed an RHoBH Season 3, and last year Bravo didn’t announce who was returning for a second season until July — just weeks before the show made its September 5 debut.
Essentially, we shouldn’t hold our breaths for casting confirmations yet.
