The Voice Season 2 Contestants Give Back With Starbucks Community Service Project
Wondering what the remaining Voice Season 2 contestants do in their down time? It turns out they give back, and love doing it!
Twitter was abuzz this morning with contestants' pictures and excited tweets. Team Blake contestant Jordis Unga wrote, “Up early for a little charity action...Really looking forward to it!! After that...straight into more rehearsals w @TheVoiceBand.”
Other contestants tweeted photos of themselves on the way to the community service project. Team Christina contestant Sera Hill posted a photo of herself wearing a Starbucks Community Service shirt and holding up The Voice’s token peace sign.
We already know that Starbucks is an official sponsor of the show after watching Voice mentor Miranda Lambert casually drinking out of a Starbucks cup in one of her coaching sessions, so it makes sense that The Voice contestants would be collaborating with the coffee company.
The Global Month of Service project is basically a marathon month of volunteer work and good deeds. Starbucks has declared April the official month, so The Voice contestants must be getting started early.
We’ll probably be seeing a whimsical montage of their service excursions on Monday night’s episode.
All of the contestants seemed excited to participate, with one notable exception. Team Cee Lo rocker Juliet Simms was apparently having some bladder issues on the way to the event.
