Grey's Anatomy

Can Slexie Finally Make Things Work on Grey’s Anatomy? You Tell Us

When it comes to relationships on Grey's Anatomy, Slexie is actually one of the most tame. Which could actually wind up being a great thing once things heat up again, as some spoilers have indicated they will.

As Slexie fans know, Mark (Eric Dane) has always maintained that he loves Lexie (Chyler Leigh), even going so far as to ask her to live with him and suggesting marriage in their future. Lexie has been the one to shy away from the relationship, first because she felt she was too young to be thinking about marriage, let alone being a 24-year-old grandmother (to Mark’s 18-year-old daughter Sloan’s baby).

The final straw seemed to be when Lexie found out about Mark’s one-night stand with Callie (Sara Ramirez), resulting in the birth of Sophia. Lexie realized Mark now had two children that would always be more important to him than she would.

That said, Lexie has really started gaining more confidence as a surgeon, now that she’s working alongside Derek (Patrick Dempsey) in neuro. She seems to be more mature, and might even be more accustomed to other people’s babies now that she gets to babysit Zola so often.

Do you think this new Slexie chapter might actually work out for good?

Grey’s Anatomy returns with an all-new episode on Thursday, April 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
