Pretty Little Liars Season 3: Who’s Getting the “New Love Interest”?

With the news that one of the Pretty Little Liars girls will have a new male love interest in Season 3, we’ve been scratching our heads trying to figure out whose love life he’ll interrupt. With all three girls who like boys very much in love right now, will any of them really have a wandering eye?

Aria. Chances are extremely low that Aria (Lucy Hale) will be in the market for a new man. Ezria’s anniversary is already trending on Twitter thanks to show creator Marlene King’s spoiler-y tweets. And haven’t we already gone to this well twice, first with Jason (Drew Van Acker) and second (sort of) with Holden? Nobody’s stealing Aria’s heart away from Ezra anytime soon.

Hanna. Have you ever been to a dance and seen a couple look as in love as Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) did at the masquerade ball in the Season 2 finale? We haven’t. This is a couple that has been more honest with and supportive of each other than any other PLL couple in history. Then again, Hanna was once a boy-crazy type. She likes male attention (and she has daddy issues). We could see her with a wandering eye, as bad of an idea as it is.

Spencer. Spencer (Troian Bellisario), of all the girls, is surprisingly the most romantically promiscuous. Even though her feelings for Toby (Keegan Allen) are very real, she’s had her way with Ian (Ryan Merriman), Wren (Julian Morris), and Alex (Diego Boneta) at various times. And her alcohol-induced night on Wren’s couch in Season 2, Episode 21: “Breaking the Code” was a sign that, for all her proper Hastings appearances, Spence can be a serious flirt and tease. Plus, the rumored love interest is supposedly “on the fast track to law school,” meaning he could connect with Spencer intellectually.

Emily. It would be borderline wrong to couple Emily (Shay Mitchell) off so soon after what appeared to be Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) sudden death at the end of Season 2. Em will most likely be in deep grieving mode, plus, hello! Emily is a proud lesbian. We find it incredibly hard to believe that she’ll jump right into bed with a random new guy in Rosewood. Unless those spoilers about Emily getting drunk mean we’re about to see a more rebellious side to her.

Catch an all-new Pretty Little Liars when Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
