The partners infamously clashed over his teaching style, leading the otherwise mellow Tony to walk out during rehearsals. And things didn't get better on the dance floor. Judge Bruno Tonioli called Kate "the super bitch from hell" with "a face like thunder" and fans weren't any kinder. But today Kate is more mellow and remembers her DWTS experience fondly. So she was taken aback by Tony's recent appearance on Anderson, where he joked about needing "a lot of therapy" after dancing with Kate.
Kate posted a blog today on CouponCabin.com and addressed Tony's comments head on.
“I think it is a shame that Tony has been left only with a negative impression of our time together, especially after we spent SO many hours, days, nights and weeks working hard together doing our best in the competition,” Kate wrote.”Despite the many obstacles I faced at that time, I was left with a very positive impression of the entire experience!”
Since Anderson mentioned being "traumatized" by watching Kate dance, Kate challenged him to compete on the next season of DWTS. "Hey, Anderson, if it does happen for you, what do you say I give you some dancing pointers over pizza sometime?" (Run, Anderson!)
Catch the next new episode of DWTS tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
