Two-time Bachelor Brad Womack, 39, has been (hiding in a bunker) keeping a low profile in Austin, Texas, since his split with ex-fiancee Emily Maynard.
The Bachelor Season 15 finale aired in March 2011, and in June Brad and Emily announced they were officially dunzo. Brad didn't want anything to do with that televised breakup special with Emily and Chris Harrison, but he told People Magazine, "the demise of our relationship was completely my fault." Emily disagreed with that, but either way it was over.
There are lingering rumors that Brad still calls Emily at all hours, even though she’s moved on and is officially the next Bachelorette for Season 8. All we know is Brad finally showed his handsome self on the red carpet on October 27, 2011, for the “Howl-O-Ween” party hosted by True Blood hottie Joe Manganiello at The Palms Hotel and Casino’s Moon Nightclub in Las Vegas.
We’re not sure what he was doing there, but we know Brad does have a strong connection to Vegas — beyond visiting the place on The Bachelor. Back in October 2010, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported the Titan Nightlife Group "has a new deal with the Womack brothers, including Brad Womack of The Bachelor, to bring a concept from the Womacks' hometown of Austin, Texas, to Las Vegas."
Later, in March 2012, Brad was spotted taking in the tunes at Austin's annual SXSW music festival. After all, Brad, his two brothers, and their business partner own four bars in Austin.
We have no idea if Brad is dating anyone at all at this point, but we hope he hasn’t tried going back to his on-and-off ex, Laurel Kagay, considering how much tabloid drama she brought to Season 15. And we KNOW Brad won’t be coming back to ABC for a third round as the Bachelor, so we hope he just finds the right girl the old-fashioned way.
