Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers Roundup: Everything You Need to Know About Season 8, Episode 18

Grey's Anatomy is back this week! Finally!

After the long hiatus, waiting even another moment for Season 8, Episode 18: “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” doesn't seem fair. While we can't magically make it Thursday at 9 p.m., we can share all of the best spoilers about the episode in one place. Hopefully this will help you fill the time between now and the episode with endless speculation about what it all means.

The lion isn't really sleeping... This episode title isn't (entirely) metaphorical: There is an actual lion that attacks some people. Based on this sneak peek, MerDer will even see the lion on their way to work. Talk about an interesting commute!

Owen and Cristina: Apparently this troubled relationship hits a "boiling point" and Mer (Ellen Pompeo) tries to be there for Cristina (Sandra Oh). Based on this sneak peek, Cristina's not talking to Owen (Kevin McKidd). Uh-oh.

Alex drops Morgan: Alex (Justin Chambers) finally does the smart thing and "requests to be taken off Morgan's preemie case when she becomes too dependent on him."

More love triangle?: Apparently "Lexie [Chyler Leigh] overhears Mark [Eric Dane]'s discussion about moving in with Julia," and based on the preview for the episode she might even call him her soulmate.

Calzona awkwardness: Callie (Sara Ramirez) ends up grilling Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) about her "past lovers" after she discovers Arizona once had a thing with another Seattle Grace-Mercy West doc. We have a feeling this is going to get very awkward, very quickly.

Teddy in a support group: Teddy (Kim Raver) finally takes a much needed step towards recovering from Henry's death by going to a widow's support group. Too bad she's mean to another widow...

Tune in to the episode on Thursday, April 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
