Russell Armstrong’s Friend Plans Tell-All Book on Taylor and Russell’s Marriage
According to Radar Online, Randy Edwards, a childhood friend of the late Russell Armstrong, has plans to pen a tell-all book about Taylor and Russell’s troubled marriage. Um, say what?
Sources for Radar Online reveal the Texas native is currently shopping his book proposal — a “revealing look” into Taylor and Russell’s marriage — around to different publishers, And, as if writing a book about someone else’s marriage isn’t odd enough, the insider says Randy is hardly an expert on the couple. He supposedly has only met Taylor “once or twice”!
Randy and Russell might share Texan roots, but Randy still lives in the Lone Star State and reportedly never visited the couple once in Beverly Hills. The source says Russell was always lending his cash-strapped buddy money because he “felt sorry for him.”
Luckily, publishers can see right through the facade, and nobody has expressed interest in Randy’s book proposal. “It's just blood money,” the source says.
And we hate to burst Randy’s bubble, but there’s already a book about Taylor and Russell’s marriage. The 40-year-old widow and reality star released her own tell-all about her allegedly abusive union with the late financial lawyer, Hiding From Reality, earlier this year.
As for how Taylor’s dealing with the news, the insider says the Texan beauty is just focusing on being a “great mom, role model, and businesswoman.”
