Beyonce Breaks the Internet! Singer Joins Twitter, Reveals Vault of Personal Photos on Tumblr
Never mind that news about Kanye West possibly being in love with Kim Kardashian — today’s top story is Beyonce’s triumphant return to winning the world. Today, Queen B reigns over a new kingdom: The Internet. Namely, Tumblr and Twitter.
The singer, who gave birth to baby Blue Ivy just three months ago, tweeted for the first time Thursday morning: “Hey World, It's B! I'm so excited to invite you to my new http://beyonce.com - we've been working hard, and it's finally ready for you XO." As of just two hours after tweeting, Bey’d already racked up 3.5 million followers.
Beyonce also revamped her Tumblr, which you probably already have bookmarked from the epic holiday known as The Day Blue Ivy Photos Hit the Internet. Bey’s Tumblr reveals possibly the happiest life being lived right now on Planet Earth (if that’s even where she and Jay-Z live). The site is a scrolling scrapbook of Beyonce staring blissfully at her husband, her baby, her sister, and BFF Gwyneth Paltrow.
Lastly, Bey’s new website features the brilliantly titled section “Beyhive,” which includes a glossary of ways to be a fellow honey bee under The Queen Bey.
