Jessica Biel Binge-Shops for Wedding Dresses and Children’s Furniture in Paris
As we reported last week (April 4, 2012), newly engaged Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are said to be planning a “big summer wedding.” So what better place to begin the nuptial planning than with the wedding dress?
Like Carrie Bradshaw before her, Jessica went to Paris to shop. People reports that the bride-to-be spent a lot of time at two bridal studios — Giambattista Valli and Elie Saab. Both designers are just as recognized for their red carpet dresses as they are for their extravagant, pricey wedding gowns.
Sources say that Jess “spent Friday on a seven-hour, high-fashion shopping spree in Paris,” and that she showed up to Giambattista Valli “accompanied by her assistant — armed with a wedding planning book.” She reportedly spent two hours at the very elegant store.
Sparking new rumors that Jessica may actually be pregnant, or at least trying to get pregnant, the actress also spent time at two high-end children’s boutiques: “Bonpoint in the Left Bank, as well as Christian Badou, a nearby kids’ furniture shop...a source says that at Merci, one of the concept shops in the Marais neighborhood, she looked at more furniture and children’s items.”
Maybe the bridal shop visits took so long because she was having a custom maternity dress designed... Or perhaps we’re letting our fantasies of a mini-Justin Timberlake dancing, beatboxing, and imitating Prince run a little too wild.
