Snooki Designing Slippers for Kids, Attacks Blogger for Accusing Her of Exploitation

Ever since Snooki told Matt Lauer on the Today show that she was going to be a “business-ready person,” her various enterprises have really blossomed. And now she is reportedly adding to the Snooki empire by introducing a new line of sneaker slippers for mini-meatballs.

As the Huffington Post reports, Snooki is “expanding her licensing deal with shoemaker Happy Feet to include a children's and infant's line of her signature oversized sneaker slippers.” In November 2010, Snooki first announced her deal with the footwear manufacturer to commercialize her puffy, soft sneaker slippers for everyday, lounging use.

Coinciding with this happy news, Snooki took to Twitter to attack Robert Paul Reyes, a reporter at the Standard Operating Press, for his recent headline on her children’s slippers line: “Snooki Already Exploiting Her Baby: Snooki Line of Slippers for Infants Coming Soon.” She tweeted, “I Never get upset over articles written about me, but @robertpaulreyes, your disgusting article about my child is sad. You know nothing.”

Happy Feet owner Pat Yates has said, “She didn’t just sign and walk away. She’s involved in every facet, from the website design to the slippers.” Well, we never would have questioned Snooki’s dedication to shoes. Especially after seeing the inside of her shoe closet!
