By the end of the ep, Diana had admitted to still having feelings for Nate, and although he hasn’t expressed the same... could it be only a matter of time before he leaves Lola (Ella Rae Peck) high and dry and falls back into Diana’s bed? (Side: Guess we should say into Diana’s [fill in the blank] since the two were more likely to get frisky in her office, in an alley, during a party... than in a bed.)
We’re starting to see Lola embrace the “It Girl” inside (even if she insists on calling her the “Every Girl”), but we’re not sure it’ll be enough to keep Nate’s attention. They seem like a sweet enough couple, supportive and honest (for now), but the chemistry between Nate and Diana is palpable. Plus, we’re not sure Lola is built to last in the UES — many have tried and failed to out-It Girl Serena or out-Queen B Blair.
What do you think, GGers? Are Lola and Nate building a strong foundation for a real relationship, even though she seems to be relishing the newfound attention Serena threw her way? Or is Diana, aggressive and sure of herself, better equipped to handle a powerful-magnate-in-the-making like Nate Archibald?
