Is David Boreanaz an Amazing Director? The Finder Cast Weighs In
You know you've hit the big leagues when you get to boss 50 Cent and his bullet wounds around a set. Bones' David Boreanaz (Agent Seeley Booth) directed the most recent episode of Hart Hanson's The Finder featuring Fiddy as a guest star, and the cast couldn't stop singing his praises.
"He's one of my favorite directors, and I did not expect it," Geoff Stults (Walter Sherman) tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I'd heard it from other people, but I thought it was bullsh*t."
"He was a blast," Mercedes Masöhn (Isabel Zambada) says. "From an actor's point of view, it's just so refreshing. He understands what we're doing and he lets us play and try different ways of doing a scene."
David's reputation as a fabulous director clearly precedes him, and he hopes to direct a small indie feature when he gets some time off from Bones. "It's a little bit more calm and relaxing, due to the fact that I didn't have to worry about jumping into a role and playing a scene," David says. "It's just a great experience to do something outside of what you're so familiar with. When you have that fear, it really helps push your creativity."
Move over, Wes Anderson. David Boreanez is about to score some serious hipster cred!
