5 Things You Need to Know About The Voice’s Juliet Simms
With the competition onThe Voice down to the “Sweet Sixteen,” there are a few front runners emerging.
Team Cee Lo is bringing the heat with “comeback kid” Jamar Rogers, but no one expected the sensational sound of gritty rock singer Juliet Simms. We thinks she has what it takes the win the entire competition, and we have some backup in the form of Adam Levine.
Juliet’s no newcomer to the music business. The rocker has fronted the band Automatic Loveletter for more than three years. The band has played the Vans Warped Tour and released its first album, Truth or Dare, in 2010 through RCA Records.
Though The Voice contestants often enjoy meeting new people and making new friends on the show, Juliet knew former Team Blake contestant Charlotte Sometimes before the first audition. The two were both on the Vans Warped Tour together and apparently dated the same guy! But they didn’t let that come between them.
“We’re both friends with him now so we’re like, let’s just be awesome friends,” Charlotte said. “Plus [Juliet’s] a hot bitch!”
3. She gave “the best performance so far” on The Voice
Though coach Adam Levine has previously said that this competition is “anyone’s game,” it seemed he was singing a different tune after Juliet’s performance of “Roxanne” by The Police last Monday night (April 9).
“You’re the best performance I’ve seen so far,” Adam said. “As much as I hate having to admit that. That is the truth, my dear.”
Yesterday Juliet tweeted, “Happy we finally got our snuggle time in<3 miiiiiiiiiirrrrrrow @PurrfectTheCat,” to which Purrfect responded, “<3 *purr*” Do you think Juliet has what it takes to win this competition? Comment below!
