DWTS Season 14’s Katherine Jenkins’ Unique Diet & Fitness Routine Revealed

As you may have heard, Dancing With the Stars Season 14 contestant Katherine Jenkins has already lost 21 pounds after four weeks spent in daily rehearsals with pro partner Mark Ballas. But it turns out that all that dancing isn’t the only way Katherine keeps fit.

According to DailyGlow, “Jenkins also follows an exercise routine of jogging and Bikram yoga, and uses the famously strict Dukan diet to curb her eating.” So what’s the Dukan diet?

With an emphasis on personal coaching, the Dukan diet has a familiar regimen of no carbs, and lots of protein. But the BBC reports that it’s the personal, individualized support from Dukan experts (including Dr. Pierre Dukan, creator of the plan) that makes it appeal to dieters. Other celebrity fans of the Dukan diet reportedly include Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen, and Pippa Middleton.

Katherine has said, “I do follow a version of the Dukan diet.” She elaborates, “but I don't follow it to the extreme so a lot of fish and vegetables. If I want chocolate I'll let myself have a bit of chocolate in moderation."

Well, hopefully she has time to sneak in a little chocolate, but knowing those vigorous DWTS rehearsals, she’s lucky she has time to eat at all!
