Johnny Depp Sued For Allegedly Allowing His Bodyguard to Harass a Disabled Woman

Oh, Johnny Depp. The maverick star, who caused a minor scandal last October by comparing photoshoots to rape, is back in the spotlight, and not in a good way. Johnny is being sued by an unnamed disabled woman who claims Johnny had his bodyguard forcibly remove her from her seat at a concert, pulling down her pants and injuring her in the process. Yeah.

According to the court documents obtained by E!, which you can see here, this event allegedly took place at an Iggy and the Stooges concert. Apparently, the woman purchased VIP tickets because regular handicap accessible seating was not available. Johnny Depp ended up being seated in the same area.

According to the document, the run-in was a multi-step process. First, Johnny's security guards almost didn't let "Jane Doe" back into the VIP area after she left briefly between acts.

Later, "Jane Doe" saw Johnny huddling with his bodyguards, who then allegedly came over and, "without provocation or prior notice...grabbed Plaintiff Jane Doe from behind, bear-hugged her," and tightly grabbed and restrained her wrists. Allegedly, the bodyguards then tried to "wrench her iPhone" away, and dragged her to an upper balcony, where they dropped her, and took her phone (her shoes also fell off in the process).

And that's not the end of it. Apparently, "Jane Doe" managed to return to her seat. The lawsuit alleges that the security guards later came back over, claimed to be off-duty officers, grabbed her wrists, forced her into handcuffs, and dragged her through the theater "on the floor," which allegedly led to her pants getting pulled down, exposing her to the theater and severely injuring her.

The lawsuit alleges that Johnny watched all of this without doing anything to stop it, and it's implied that he may have even asked the guards to remove her.

We don't yet know all of the facts of the case, but if this is true, it's terrible. If this story is even partially correct, we'll have to hand in our Johnny Depp fan club cards. Even if there was some provocation on the woman's part, there's no excuse for her to be treated this roughly.
