The Latin James Bond/Brad Pitt/Clooney-licious hunk told Access Hollywood exactly how he injured his ankle on Sunday, leading to an MRI and a diagnosis of a torn ligament.
“I was practicing my turns,” he told Access. “I kept working on them by myself and… I guess I shouldn’t be so hard on myself, which is what happened. I slipped [on] the dirt; I slipped and fell on my ankle, my whole weight on my ankle and that’s it."
His pro partner Cheryl Burke must've been thrilled, since last week he accidentally stepped on her shoe during their Jive and she seemed really frustrated about it. At least this week the mishap didn't hurt their Argentine Tango, which tied for the top score of Week 5.
William also clarified that his doctor never advised him to stop dancing. “He told me that I could dance, but that I had to take care of my ankle,” William explained. “I have to really tape it really good so it won’t move anywhere…I have to ice it and take care of it, rest it.”
Rest? No rest for the wicked sexy! They have to prepare for Motown Week — and who knows what mishap they’ll have next.
