Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong Claims Husband Russell Forced Her to Sign Legal Documents

In July 2011, MyMedicalRecords.com sued Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong and her late husband, Russell, over a breach of contract. Russell committed suicide in early August, so the controversial lawsuit has fallen completely on Taylor’s shoulders. After Russell’s shocking death, the 40-year-old TV star alleged her husband had abused her. The Daily Beast obtained several court documents and reports that Taylor hopes those claims will ensure that she doesn’t have to pay for his bad deeds.

According to the lawsuit, Taylor posed as a member of the prestigious Ford family to garner money from investors, but later she and Russell funneled the cash into their own accounts to fuel their lavish lifestyle, “redecorate their mansion, and become business colleagues of [actress] Eva Longoria in an upscale restaurant,” among other claims.

Although Taylor insists she doesn’t know what happened to the investors’ missing money, she admits that she and her husband paid $250,000 to MMR “to settle all disputes.” Now, Taylor claims her husband threatened to hurt her if she didn’t sign that document.

“I was under the threat of physical abuse from my late husband if I did not sign the settlement agreement … and my late husband had caused me such severe physical harm before that I took his threats seriously,” says Taylor.

On MMR’s end, they say Taylor’s hasn’t provided a “scintilla of evidence” to prove she was forced to sign.
