Pretty Little Liars

Tyler Blackburn on Haleb and the Future of Caleb’s Bromance With Lucas — Exclusive

Wetpaint Entertainment recently spoke to Pretty Little Liars star Tyler Blackburn (Caleb Rivers). In part one of our interview with him, Tyler talked about Season 3, the Black Swan, and his involvement with the 2012 Acuvue 1-Day Contest.

We also chatted with Tyler about two of Caleb's strongest relationships on the show: his romance with Hanna (Ashley Benson), and his bromance with Lucas (Brendan Robinson). Read on to hear what he had to say.

Wetpaint Entertainment: Hanna and Caleb have been going strong for so long, we're kind of worried about them, because no one stays happy in Rosewood for long. Do you know if there will be any obstacles to their romance?
Tyler Blackburn: Yeah! I know, I know. I don't know [if there will be obstacles], though.

We hope they manage to stay happy.
I know, I kind of do, too. I kind of do, but I also kind of want some stuff to go down. We'll see.

Caleb has stayed loyal to Hanna even though he's been through a lot because of her. What has kept him so loyal?
I definitely think she's helped him to become a better person. And I think that he's just in love with her. I think that definitely makes people make some decisions that other people might be like — "What, why? Why are you doing that?" I think that at the root he knows the kind of person Hanna is, and believes in her, and wants to be there for her. Everybody goes through stuff, and I think he's just trying to be there with her through it.

Will we be seeing more of Lucas [Brendan Robinson] and Caleb? That's another relationship that's really fabulous.
I know, right? I'm not sure exactly. I have heard little rumors of maybe like bunk beds or something like that. But we'll see.
