TV Line reports that during that trip to the physical therapist, Joe “turns up the heat (with adorable/awkward results).” Entertainment Weekly sheds a bit more light on the situation, saying, “Joe and Quinn begin to get much closer and Joe even goes to Sam [Chord Overstreet] for sex advice.”
Wait a second. Sex advice? Considering how sheltered of an upbringing Joe’s had so far, we not sure if he’s even kissed a girl before. Seems a little early to be thinking about sex, wouldn’t you say?
If we had to guess, we’d bet that lovebirds Quinn and Joe aren’t making solid plans to get Biblical with each other quite yet. Joe’s probably just asking Sam for general advice on how to deal with these new feelings. But that said, it certainly sounds like something is up.
Possibly adding some insight, TV Guide’s William Keck tweeted, “Biggest OMG did they just do THAT moment in new #glee - somebody gets an erection and another feels it rubbed up against them - guess who”
No confirmation if Joe is the guy-in-question or not... but Glee certainly does seem to have sex on the brain this episode! Another sex-y reference? Apparently, one of the couples on the show is suffering from a case of “Lesbian Bed Death.”
So, while we’re still not sure if any of Glee’s couples will actually get it on during the episode, there will definitely be plenty of talk about sex. (Somebody call Salt-n-Pepa!)
