The Voice’s Adam Levine Encourages Adults With ADHD to Share Their Stories

It's official: Adam Levine is the perfect man. If you’ve seen him shirtless and still don't agree, we seriously question your taste.

But it's not just Adam's looks we love …

Not only does he work hard to support his team on The Voice while continuing to bring us awesome new Maroon 5 music, but Adam is also a spokesman for “owning” adult ADHD.

The singer has released several PSAs about embracing his struggles with the disorder, and wants others affected to do the same.

Now, with the help of the company Shire, Adam is starting a contest for adults with ADHD to tell their stories. Those with the most compelling submissions will win prizes as well as the opportunity to be a spokesperson for the project.

"'The Own It Project' is important because it encourages adults, like me, who are owning their ADHD, to become advocates and tell their story," Adam said. "I hope that this effort will help people realize the importance of owning their ADHD."

Those interested can submit their stories online at for a chance to win.

What do you think of Adam’s initiative? Comment below!
