The boards: According to the press release about the episode, "the residents travel to San Francisco for the oral board" this week. Stressful! We know one resident won't pass the Boards, though it sounds like we won't find out who the unlucky person is until next week.
Alex's guilt: According to the press release,"Alex Karev [Justin Chambers] feels guilty about being away from the hospital when Tommy's health takes a turn for the worse." We wonder if that will affect his performance during the test?
Jackson and April: As we see in the preview, April Kepner (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) hook up this episode. According to Sarah Drew, April is freaking out prior to the Boards (understandable) and it sounds like that's part of what fuels the hookup. Sarah hints that "there’s also something very cool revealed about April at the end of the episode," and mentions that "there's a lot of confusion between the two of them regarding what the relationship actually is after they hook up."
Richard's sparks: According to the press release, Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) is back, and "sparks fly" when Richard [James Pickens Jr.] bumps in to her "at the hotel." After last week, poor Richard deserves a little happiness!
