Private Practice Guest Star Rachel G. Fox: Season 5, Episode 19 Will Be “Twisted” — Exclusive

Tonight's episode of Private Practice, Season 5, Episode 19: "True Colors," will feature guest star Rachel G. Fox as the older sister of a patient suffering from multiple stab wounds (Shonda Rhimes really like to hurt kids, doesn't she?).

Wetpaint Entertainment had a chance to chat with Rachel today, and she shared a little more about her role, and what it was like on the Private Practice set.

"I play a girl named Missy Spencer, and her little sister got stabbed multiple times," Rachel explained. "Missy was the one who found her sister after she got stabbed."

This being Shondaland, Missy and her sister's story isn't straightforward. "It's actually a very twisted episode," Rachel dished. "It's not going to be what you expect at all. It's full of little twists and turns."

"For me it was one of the most complex roles that I've ever had to get into," Rachel added. "It was a challenge to do, and such a memorable experience."

Even though the episode was twisted, it sounds like Rachel's experience on the Private Practice set was anything but.

"It is extremely fun," she gushed. "Everybody has their different roles. Some people were very professional and very focused, which was great, and I totally appreciate that. And other cast members were really funny and relaxed. Like Taye Diggs, for instance, he was always breaking out in song and dance, he was making jokes all the time, he was so chill."

"Everyone brought their own strength and characteristics. It really made for a balanced set between very professional, and very fun."

Tune in to Private Practice tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC to see Rachel in action.
